How to reach us
Agriturismo Braccicorti is located in the green heart of Garfagnana valley (north-western Tuscany), in the municipality of Pieve Fosciana (Lucca), at an altitude of 440 m above sea level, on the left bank of the river Serchio and a short distance from the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps.
Located 5 km north of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, the farm is one hour by car (or train) from Lucca and the Versilia seacoast, and 1 hour and a half from Florence.

By car
From Lucca. Take road SS 445, direction Castelnuovo Garfagnana (about 50 min.). Just before the village, turn at the roundabout at first right (indications for Parco dell’Orecchiella) and take the tunnel. At the next roundabout, take the second exit (go straight on) and at the third roundabout turn right towards Aulla-San Romano (SP 16 road). From here continue passing Pontecosi and a petrol station, then, at the 3 km from the last roundabout, turn right (before Villetta village).
From Modena. From the Radici Pass, keep the left and reach Alpe di San Pellegrino village. Along a steep and curvy road, pass through Chiozza and Pieve Fosciana where you graft onto the main road. From here, keep right in the next two roundabouts towards S. Romano (SP 16 road), pass Pontecosi village. The farm is 1.2 km on the right after the petrol station (4th km of the SP 16).
From Aulla. Follow the signs for Casola in Lunigiana and reach Piazza al Serchio on SS 445 Passo dei Carpinelli road (about 1 hour). Once you reach Piazza al Serchio, continue towards San Romano in Garfagnana and Castelnuovo on the SP16 (be careful not to take the parallel SS 445 along the opposite bank of the Serchio). The farm is about 1 km after Villetta, on the left.
By train
For those coming by train, the railway line is Lucca-Aulla and the our nearest station is ‘Villetta-S. Romano‘. The journey from Lucca lasts about 1 hour, from Aulla 50 minutes. Be careful: not all trains stop at Villetta-S.Romano station: in this case you have to get off at Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
By plane
The nearest airport is the ‘Galileo Galilei’ Pisa airport. From Pisa you can reach Braccicorti by train (Pisa-Lucca-Castelnuovo or Villetta) or with a rental car.
